“All My Children” alum Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery) is set to make a guest appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the daytime talk show hosted by former co-stars Kelly Ripa (Hayley Vaughan Santos) and Mark Consuelos (Mateo Santos), in an episode scheduled to air Thursday, August 6.
In addition to reuniting with the talk show hosts, Willey will be on hand to discuss his new film, “Death on the Brandywine,” a political whodunnit mystery that also stars several soap alums including Kate Burton (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal”), Rena Sofer (“General Hospital,” “The Bold and the Beautiful”) and Tuc Watkins (“One Life to Live,” “Paradise”), as well as Jay Huguley (“The Walking Dead,” “Lioness”), Shanley Caswell (“NCIS,” “The O.C.”), Guy Nardulli (“Tulsa King,” “Big Mistakes”) and Satomi Hofmann (“The Phantom of the Opera”), among others.

Filled with mystery, power, and deception, “Death on the Brandywine” was written and directed by Nick Wilkinson and details the events after a prominent politician, Daniel Riley (played by Walt Willey), is found dead at his grand estate, of an apparent suicide, though his daughter, Jackie Riley (played by Shanley Caswell), refuses to accept the official story. Teamed with her sharp-witted partner, Professor Millie Park (played by Satomi Hofmann), Jackie uncovers a tangled web of secrets, lies, and chilling truths, mixed with sibling rivalries, old betrayals and buried scandals.
“Tune in for this reunion and some talk about ‘Death on the Brandywine’ and other subjects – plus a SURPRISE!” said Willey in a post published on X (formerly Twitter) earlier this month, while also noting the film would be making its regional premiere at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin, TN on Monday, July 13.

Outside of his new film, Willey is preparing for a new iteration of his one-man show, “Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok,” on Saturday, October 17, at 7:00 p.m., part of the Ottawa Center for the Arts’ “Homecoming Series!” Willey’s wife, Sarah Kaine, will portray “Calamity” Jane during the performance.
On Sunday, October 18, Willey, a native of Ottawa, will also take part in a moderated discussion on the topic of “Art in Our Lives.”
