As he shared pictures of his reunion with former “One Life to Live” co-star Erika Slezak (ex-Victoria Lord Buchanan), who joins the cast of “General Hospital” as a yet to be known character with ties to Quartermaines, specifically Monica (played by the late Leslie Charleson), beginning Friday, September 26, actor Chris L. McKenna (Jack Brennan) revealed that another Llanview alum is also heading to Port Charles, albeit this time behind the camera.

Jessica Tuck, who portrayed  Megan Gordon on “One Life to Live” from 1988-1993, and later appeared as Megan’s spirit on special occasions until the show’s conclusion in 2012, is now directing at “General Hospital,” with her first day behind the camera being Tuesday, September 23.

An air date for the episode was not announced at press time.

“And the magic keeps on happening! #JessicaTuck has joined us! This is her first day DIRECTING! We’re so lucky to have her on board,” commented McKenna in a post on X (formerly Twitter), using the hashtags “OLTL,” “GH,” “Megan” and “Joey,” the latter of which is a reference to the character he portrayed on the since-canceled daytime drama series from 1990-1993.

In addition to her role on “One Life to Live,” Tuck also portrayed the recurring role of Cassandra Pierce on “General Hospital” from 2017-2019. Her other soap credits include “Sunset Beach” (ex-Diane Wood) and “Days of our Lives” (ex-Madeline Peterson Woods).

Tuck’s long list of credits includes roles in several TV shows, including “Judging Amy,” “Designated Survivor,” “True Blood,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “Seinfeld,” “Saving Grace,” “The Nanny,” “Flashforward,” “Cold Case,” “Good Trouble,” “For All Mankind,” and, more recently, “Upload,” among others. She famously portrayed Mrs. Evans, the mother of Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan (Lucas Grabel) in “High School Musical 2” and “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.”

Among feature films, Tuck appeared in “Mr. White,” “Batman Forever,” “Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love,” “Wild Hogs,” and “Super 8,” among others.

On Monday, September 22, McKenna shared behind-the-scenes photos of himself with Slezak as the two reunited on the set of the long-running drama series. “I can’t get over how tall you are!” McKenna quoted Slezak as they saw each other for the first time in a while. “I know, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for any of this to happen!” responded McKenna to Slezak.

“Just indescribable having Erika here,” shared McKenna in a separate post on X. “To be meeting my family after so many decades apart is incredible. My two mom’s and the mother of my son together. So grateful.” The post included BTS photos of McKenna, Slezak, his real-life mom, and his wife, Lovisa Johnson, plus their son, Spencer J. McKenna.

“There will be more too because our actual first real meeting in 32 years was caught on video and you’ll all see it soooon….,” said McKenna, highlighting material fans can look forward to seeing in the near future.
