As previously reported, the cast of “General Hospital” will take on the cast of “The Young and the Restless” when cast members from both daytime dramas appear on the Thursday, July 31 episode of the ABC primetime game show “Celebrity Family Feud,” hosted by Steve Harvey.
Representing “General Hospital” are cast members Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford), Rena Sofer (Lois Cerullo), Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashford) and Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), who are playing for their charity, The Nature Conservancy.
From “The Young and the Restless,” Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) and Bryton James (Devon Winters) will be playing for Entertainment Community Fund’s Southern California Wildfires Fund.
“Thank you @iamsteveharveytv and the whole ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ team for making us feel so welcome in Atlanta!” said Lauralee Bell in the caption of a post she made on Instagram earlier this week, sharing a behind-the-scenes compilation video from her experience taping the episode. “Love our #YR family and we couldn’t have done it without our own @mattykane1. Extra fun hanging with our friends at #GH.” In response to Bell’s post, the official account of the game show said, “Let’s do it!”
“We were definitely feuding,” joked Finola Hughes during an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark” in May, which was taped not too long after she returned from the Atlanta studio where the game show is taped.

“I was the captain! Well, that means that you go up first and I realized that the little buzzer was a little high. So, when everyone was sort of busy doing other things, I went over and I was practicing with the buzzer, so that I could be fast. But I was practicing at home with Sadie and Cash!” she added, referencing her daughter and son, who thought she would be awful at the game. “We don’t have a buzzer on our counter in the kitchen, every time I would do it, I kept going ‘Bzzz, bzzz!’ You know, and Cash was like, ‘You know you can’t do that when you come on the show?”
In a promo for the upcoming episode, Steve Harvey asks the question, “Name something your mate’s booty has in common with the basketball.” Rena Sofer said, “It bounces,” while Maurice Benard stated, “Air comes out?”

Introducing the Teams
In other videos shared online, Morrow, who served as team captain for “The Young and the Restless,” can be seen behind the scenes introducing each member while also talking about the charity they are playing for. Finola Hughes, who served as team captain for “General Hospital,” did the same.
