In anticipation of its expanding daytime lineup, marking the first long-term scheduling change at the network since 2010, CBS will be the home of at least three daily soap operas with the release of drama “Beyond the Gates” joining the already airing “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless.”
In light of the network getting soapier, CBS has released a brand new promo marketing all three shows, touting, “CBS Daytime is flirtier, dirtier, sexier, riskier… SOAPIER!”

Featuring music from Freakfake with the song “The Only Way Out,” off the album “House,” the clips highlight all three shows intertwined with the themes, including Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) from “The Young and the Restless” getting “flirtier,” while Will (Crew Morrow) takes on his rival on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and the show gets “Sexier” with Carter (Lawrence-Saint Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle) making out at Forrester. Finally, things get “Riskier” as Sharon (Sharon Case) battles with her mind as Cameron (Linden Ashby) gets in her head on “The Young and the Restless.”

Ultimately, the promo highlights “Beyond the Gates,” the network’s newest soap opera, premiering Monday, February 24. The series is the first brand new soap opera set to debut on a broadcast network in more than 25 years, since the launch of “Passions” in 1999, and the first-ever one-hour Black-centric daytime drama series. It’ll air weekdays at 2:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. PT on CBS and will be available to stream Live and On Demand on Paramount+.
