On Sunday, May 4, 2025, “The Young and the Restless” star Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) will be joined by castmates Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin), Bryton James (Devon Winters), Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings) and Conner Floyd (Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV) as well as Morgan Hoffman, an entertainment reporter working for Global TV’s “The Morning Show” and Global News, who will serve as emcee, for another Kate Linder & Friends charity event set to take place in Ontario, Canada.
Titled “after BREAST CANCER presents the Shine a Light on Breast Cancer Brunch,” hosted by Linder with Le Blanc serving as co-host, the event includes brunch, a question and answer session with the cast, an autograph session (one item per person limit) with the cast, and a live and silent auction that includes a chance to bid on a tour of the closed set of the daytime drama series with Linder as personal tour guide.
Founded in 2013 by Alicia Vianga, after BREAST CANCER (ABC) is a unique program that provides cancer survivors in the Toronto area who are either without insurance or financially challenged with access to their basic needs, including providing mastectomy bras, mastectomy camisoles and breast prostheses, among other services.
“I am happy and honored to join forces with after BREAST CANCER to bring increased awareness of what happens during and after a breast cancer diagnosis,” said Linder in a statement.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Kate Linder,” noted Vianga. “Kate is a powerhouse who gives not only of her time but her incredible heart to help others. Her support will make a big difference.”
Proceeds from the event will fund ABC’s Care KIT! Thrive Program, and vital workshops designed to help cancer survivors navigate their post-treatment lives with dignity and hope.
Taking place at the Venu Event Space (2800 Hwy 7, Vaughan, ON L4K 1W8, just outside of Toronto), the event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., local time, with general admission tickets priced at $150 per person. Each ticket includes complimentary drinks, hors d’oeuvres réception, brunch, entertainment, complimentary parking, and much more!
