Eight weeks into the 2024-2025 broadcast television season, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Talk” either hit or tied their season highs in Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 rating, according to latest figures released by Nielsen.
During the week of November 11-15, 2024, “The Young and the Restless” hit a new season high in both key women sales demographics, averaging a 0.27 rating among Women 18-49 and a 0.49 rating among Women 25-54, up +0.02 and +0.06 week-to-week, respectively.

The fallout from the 13,000th episode, airing Wednesday, November 13, saw Genoa City dealing with multiple lives in peril as evil revealed itself. The Friday, November 15 episode was the highest-rated episode overall for the daytime drama series, attracting a 0.30 rating among Women 18-49 and a 0.52 rating among Women 25-54.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” was also up week-to-week, hitting a new season high among Women 18-49 (0.27 rating), and virtually on par with its season high among Women 25-54 (0.40 rating vs. 0.41 rating two weeks earlier). The standout episode for the week was the Tuesday, November 12 episode, which hit a 0.29 rating among Women 18-49 and a 0.46 rating among Women 25-54.
Although “General Hospital” was flat week-to-week in Women 25-54 (0.32 rating), the daytime drama series was up among Women 18-49 (0.22 rating) week-to-week, on par with its performance two weeks prior when Kelly Monaco concluded her 21-year run as Sam McCall.
With just over a month to go before “The Talk” signs off after 15 seasons, the daytime talk show tied its season high among Women 18-49 (0.17 rating) while hitting a new season high among Women 25-54 (0.27 rating). In fact, the show also hit a season among Women 25-54 viewers, averaging 165,000 viewers in the demographic, up +11,000 viewers week-to-week. Additionally, Among Women 25-54 viewers, the show performed significantly higher than “NBC News Daily” (147,000 viewers) and “GMA3: What You Need to Know” (136,000 viewers).
