The wait is officially over! “General Hospital” fans can watch Nicholas Alexander Chavez (ex-Spencer Cassadine) in “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” now streaming on Netflix.
Chronicling the case of the real-life brothers who were convicted in 1996 for the August 20, 1989 murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez, the second season of the Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan-led true-crime anthology series sees Chavez taking on the role of Lyle Menendez, the eldest brother, while newcomer Cooper Koch plays Erik Menendez. Playing their parents are Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny.

During the real-life trial, the prosecution argued the brothers killed their parents to inherit their family fortune. Meanwhile, Lyle and Erik claimed – and remain adamant to this day, as they serve life sentences without the possibility of parole – that their actions stemmed out of fear from a lifetime of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of their parents.

Over nine episodes, viewers will watch as “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” dives into the historic case that took the world by storm, paved the way for audiences’ modern-day fascination with true crime, and in return asks the audiences: Who are the real monsters?
