Disney+ becomes exclusive streaming home of concert film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version), which grossed more than 260 million at the global box office.

For those unable to land tickets to her concert in person or even the movie concert in theaters, you’re in luck: “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is coming to Disney+ with an all-new “Taylor’s Version” featuring five additional songs, including “Cardigan” and four additional acoustic songs, that weren’t part of the original film’s release back in October.

Making its exclusive streaming debut on the service on Friday, March 15, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” is a history-making, cinematic experience directed by Sam Wrench. The theatrical release grossed over $260 million worldwide at the global box office, making it the top-selling concert film of all time.

“‘The Eras Tour’ has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively on Disney+,” said Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, in announcing the deal for the film to stream on Disney+. 

Taylor Swift recently kicked off the 2024 leg of her tour at the Tokyo Dome in Japan before rushing off to Las Vegas this past weekend to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates as they took on the San Francisco 49ers during CBS’ broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII. The Chiefs won 25-22 in an overtime game, delivering the most-watched telecast in history with a Total Audience 

Delivering 123.4 million viewers across all platforms, including CBS Television Network, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision, and CBS Sports, Univision, and NFL digital properties, including NFL+, Super Bowl LVIII topped last year’s game by +7% (123.4 million vs. 115.1 million) across all platforms according to Nielsen figures released late Monday night, Super Bowl.
