Fans of Eli and Lani (ELani) are in for a treat when portrayers Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers reprise the roles starting with the Thursday, February 29 episode of “Days of our Lives.”
Initially thought to be a one-off return, Soap Opera Network has learned that Archey and Stowers will appear in several episodes of the series, including most of next week and another episode set to air a few weeks down the line. While this is far from a permanent return for the two actors, it’s worth it for the die-hard fans of the Peacock exclusive series.
In story, Eli and Lani are back in Salem to support Paulina (Jackée Harry), Lani’s mother, who is going through a health crisis.
On the Monday, March 4 episode, a distraught Paulina tells Marlena (Deidre Hall) she doesn’t want to die. Meanwhile, her husband, Abe (James Reynolds), and her daughter rally behind her, hoping to keep her spirits up. Sadly, things turn for the worse later in the week when only a miracle can save the one-time governor-elect.
Since departing “Days of our Lives,” Archey can be seen more frequently as Principal D’Angelo Carter on “All American” on The CW, while Stowers appears in the current season of the Tyler Perry-created drama “Sistas” on BET. Stowers plays Penelope on the show.
All-new episodes of “Days of our Lives” are released Weekdays at 6:00 a.m. ET/3:00 a.m. PT on Peacock. Stream Anytime. On Any Device. Visit PeacockTV.com for more information on how to watch.
