‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ Renewed Through Season 3

Now in its second season, "The Jennifer Hudson Show" will be back for a third season after FOX Television Stations and Hearst clear the show for 2024-2025.

FOX Television Stations and Hearst Television have renewed “The Jennifer Hudson Show” for a third season, keeping the daytime talk show hosted by EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) winner Jennifer Hudson on the air through at least the 2024-2025 television season. The show is produced and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

In addition to FOX and Hearst, the talk show also airs on stations owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, TEGNA, Nexstar Media Group, Scripps Media, and Gray Media Group, among other station groups.

“I am so humbled by all the love the show has received these past two seasons, and I thank YOU for watching every day,” said Hudson of the show’s third season pickup in an exclusive shared with fans via her show’s weekly newsletter.

In a separate statement, Hudson said, “There is nothing I love more than watching people come together in positivity on one accord — sharing our humanity and our stories, learning from each other, and celebrating one another. Television Group, in a recent statement announcing the renewal news.

“We look forward to further growth of the show in year three, but we’re aware the real reason Jennifer wanted to extend with the Fox Stations is so that I’ll keep giving her singing lessons,” said Frank Cicha, executive vice president, programming, Fox Television Stations.

According to the latest Nielsen figures shared by Warner Bros., the show’s current second season is averaging 4.4 million total P2+ weekly viewers and has seen triple-digit increases in social engagement. Season two launched in early October after producers delayed the show’s premiere due to the WGA strike. Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, Taye Diggs (“Guiding Light”) and Cedric the Entertainer were some of the show’s first guests upon its return.

Distributed in national syndication by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, “The Jennifer Hudson Show” is executive produced by Hudson, Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner, Corey Palent, Graehme Morphy, and Walter Williams III, with LaNeé Griffin as co-executive producer.
