THE NUMBERS

The Young and the Restless” (3.184 million) was the only daytime broadcast series to see improvement of +100,000 viewers or more during the week of October 16-20, 2023, and the series marked a season high just four weeks into the very young 2023-2024 television season.

Although “The View” (2.287 million) was down week-to-week among Total Viewers, the talk show still managed to see improvement compared to the same week last year, adding +84,000 viewers.

The first half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” (2.271 million) saw week-to-week improvement, adding +80,000 viewers, and so did “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.707 million) which increased by +30,000 viewers over one week earlier. Also seeing improvement week-to-week among viewers was “General Hospital” (2.014 million) which gained +45,000 viewers and helped bring the show back over the two million viewer mark. The ABC soap was the only daytime broadcast series to see improvement over its performance during the comparable week in 2020.
