It’s June 21, and that means summer is officially here.
To help celebrate, Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine Blair on “The Young and the Restless,” gathered several of her classmates to help kick off the season in a video posted to Instagram set to music by Katrina & The Waves song “Walking on Sunshine.”
Those featured in the video include Joshua Morrow (Nick), Eric Braeden (Victor), Sharon Case (Sharon), Michael Graziadei (Daniel), Conner Floyd (Chance), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Tracey E. Bergman (Lauren), Allison Lanier (Summer), Kate Linder (Esther), Sean Dominic (Nate), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Zuleyka Silver (Audra), Trevor St. John (Tucker), Eileen Davidson (Ashley), Michael Mealor (Kyle), Susan Walters (Diane) and Mark Grossman (Adam), among others.

Hoping to dispel any worries about why some of the show’s talent did not appear in the video, Bell noted, “We’re so grateful for the best fans around and wishing you a wonderful summer ahead!” She added, “As always if you don’t see everybody in the video it’s only because they weren’t in on the day we made it but more to come whenever we have a chance! Hope it adds some sunshine to your day!!”
In addition to beach towels and umbrellas, one of which is hypnotizing, literally, the video ends with the words, “We love our fans.”

Since March, Bell has been sharing behind-the-scenes videos with fans to show how grateful the cast is for their continued loyalty and viewership, and for helping keep it on the air for 50 years. She joined the show in 1983 as legal eagle Christine Blair and is the daughter of the show’s creators, the late William J. Bell (1927-2005) and the late Lee Phillip Bell (1928-2020).
This video, along with the others, saw Bell take on many hats, including director, producer, cameraperson and editor.
