As part of the network’s June Weddings programming event, fans of “Days of our Lives” alum Casey Deidrick (ex-Chad DiMera) can catch the actor in the Hallmark Channel original movie, “Wedding Season,” which also stars Stephanie Bennett.
In the movie, airing Saturday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, Trisha (Bennett) is a journalist on back-to-back bridesmaid duty for her three best friends. When her date cannot join, she pairs up with photographer Ryan (Deidrick), her best friend’s brother.
“Wedding Season” marks a return to Hallmark for Deidrick who last appeared in 2021’s “A Very Merry Bridesmaid,” part of the network’s annual Countdown to Christmas programming event. The movie, which also starred Emily Osment., averaged 2.789 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the Adults 18-49 demo, placing first for the night among Total Viewers on cable and fourth overall in the demo among cable network programming.
Since leaving “Days of our Lives” in 2013, Deidrick has made numerous appearances across television, including roles on MTV’s “Eye Candy” and “Teen Wolf.” From 2019-2022, he appeared as Max Parish in The CW series “In the Dark.”
