‘General Hospital’ Star Maurice Benard to Appear as Scheduled Guest on ‘The View’ and ‘Tamron Hall’

Maurice Benard will appear on "The View" and "Tamron Hall" to discuss 60 years of "General Hospital" and his 30th anniversary playing Sonny Corinthos.

Following last week’s appearance of co-star Finola Hughes on “Good Morning America,” “Live with Kelly and Ryan” and “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” “General Hospital” star Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) will be appearing on the Wednesday, March 29 episode of “The View” and the Thursday, March 30 episode of “Tamron Hall.”

Benard will be on hand to discuss the 60th anniversary of “General Hospital” and the 30th anniversary of his playing Sonny Corinthos on the daytime drama series. He will also discuss his popular podcast, “Maurice Benard: State of Mind.”

In addition to acting, Benard is a New York Times bestselling author. In 2020, he released his book “Nothing General About It: How Love (and Lithium) Saved Me On and Off General Hospital,” which chronicles his dealings with mental health, bipolar, anxiety and depression, among other topics.

“General Hospital” premiered April 1, 1963 and airs weekdays at 2:00 p.m. EDT/1:00 p.m. PDT on ABC. “The View” airs weekdays at 11:00 a.m. EDT/10:00 a.m. PDT on ABC.
