Due to recent scheduling conflicts, the weekly Daytime Broadcast ratings reports have been delayed. We will be getting back on schedule with postings on Tuesday afternoons (Wednesdays/Thursdays when considering holiday weeks) beginning next week. In the meantime, here are the Daytime Broadcast ratings for the week of June 27-July 1, 2022 with the weeks of July 4-8, 2022 and July 11-15, 2022 soon to follow.

For the week, “The Young and the Restless” (3.300 million) and the second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” (2.656 million) saw the most significant week to week gains, up +252,000 and +200,000 viewers, respectively. The first half hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” was down a mere -3,000 viewers. Meanwhile, compared to the same week last year, except for “Days of our Lives” (1.585 million) and “The Talk” (1.399 million), all the other daytime broadcast shows were down with rerun ridden “The Price is Right” (3.688 million / 4.210 million) and “Let’s Make a Deal” falling the most year to year.

“General Hospital” (1.906 million) saw its least-watched week among Total Viewers of the 2021-2022 television season and its lowest week overall since the week of August 17-21, 2020. The show’s numbers fell primarily due to the Friday, July 1 broadcast which attracted the second lowest demos across daytime broadcast for the day, behind only “The Talk” (0.13 rating in Women 18-49; 0.23 rating in Women 25-54). In fact, lead-in “GMA3: What You Need to Know” (1.493 million) managed to outperform the drama series in both Women 18-49 (0.20 vs 0.16 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.30 vs 0.26 rating) for the day.

What follows is a breakdown of how the daytime broadcast shows performed during the week of June 27-July 1, 2022 in Women 18-49 rating, Women 25-54 rating, Households and Total Viewers, including a look at their comparable performance in 2021 and 2020, respectively. A closer look at the daytime soaps, including their daily performance in the demos, can be viewed here.
