As previously reported, American soaps “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” will be returning to Monte-Carlo for the 61st Edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, taking place June 17-21, 2022. Although it was already known that Melissa Ordway and Jason Thompson would be on hand representing “Y&R” for a meetup session, only recently has it been revealed who will represent “B&B.”

Look for actors Thorsten Kaye, Krista Allen, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Tanner Novlan as they celebrate the iconic show’s 35th anniversary with a special and exclusive screening followed by a Q&A session moderated by journalist Rebecca Leffler and a signing session. The events will take place on Sunday, June 19 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Salle Camille Blanc, Grimaldi Forum. The special standalone episode being screened is the 35th-anniversary episode in which a sleeping Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is visited in her dreams by all of her past loves, taking stock of her life. Featured in the episode are Jack Wagner, who played Nick Marone from 2003 to 2012; Winsor Harmon, who played Thorne Forrester from 1996 to 2016; John McCook (Eric Forrester); Don Diamont (Bill Spencer); and the aforementioned Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester).

Prior to the special screening, on Saturday, June 18 from 5:00 p.m. – 5:50 p.m. at the Salle Genevoix, Grimaldi Forum, “B&B” executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell, supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk and director Cynthia J. Popp will share exclusive insight into the secrets to the success and longevity of their hit show that has been a cornerstone of daytime programming at CBS since 1987. They’ll also share how there is a renewed energy for the soap genre in an ever-changing environment which enables them to stay current and keep their fan base engaged as shown by the show’s continued ratings success which includes millions of viewers around the world.
