Congratulations are in order for former “All My Children” and “Days of our Lives” actress turned reality TV starlet Chrishell Stause who won the Best Reality Star award at the 2022 “MTV Movie & TV Awards” which aired Sunday, June 5 on MTV. Her Netflix series, “Selling Sunset,” won Best Docu-Reality Show.

In her acceptance speech, Stause thanked the show’s executive producer, Adam DiVello, Netflix, the show’s cast and MTV, among others. She said, “[Without] the whole cast I wouldn’t be standing here… you can’t do a reality show without every single person that makes it work, so, thank you guys so much! And just really quick, I knew about this nomination before I had said anything about my sexuality – I’m not trying to get really deep with you guys, but the fact that this was voted on after means so much to me because I wasn’t sure, you know, how that was going to go, and I thank you guys so much. I appreciate it.”

In early May, Stause revealed she’s dating G Flip, a non-binary Australian singer. Calling them “an extremely talented musician,” Stause stated, “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re nonbinary, so they go by they/them.” Prior to her relationship with G Flip, Stause had been dating her “Selling Sunset” boss/co-star Jason Oppenheim and had been married to former “This Is Us” and “The Young and the Restless” actor Justin Hartley.

“I. AM. SO. HONORED!!!” Stause later said on Twitter after winning her award. “Truly thank you to everyone that voted and thank you so much @MTV & @netflix.”
