On Tuesday, January 18, look for “The Talk” co-host Akbar Gbajabiamila to make his daytime debut on “The Bold and the Beautiful” when he appears in the role of “Max,” a Forrester Creations executive who talks with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about a new business venture he recently handled for the company.
“I came in there nervous as heck. I grew up watching stories,” Gbajabiamila said during Monday’s episode of “The Talk” which featured an appearance by Kaye and Saint-Victor as they promoted the upcoming episode of “B&B.” “Thorsten came in and said we’ve got this…We went in the break room and just rehearsed it…then Lawrence came in and they were so chill about it…then, we went into the makeup room [rehearsed more]. Before you know it, they had me comfortable. And then we just went in there, and I did that one scene, on take one, and I was like, oh my gosh, I think I can do this!”
While there hasn’t been any talk of bringing Gbajabiamila back beyond his one-episode appearance at this time, Natalie Morales seemed hopeful for her co-host, saying to Kaye, “Are we talking about getting him back in and like a regular?” Kaye notes, “I don’t know regular, let’s take it easy…we would like to have you back sometime.” An excited Gbajabiamila responded, saying, “Oh yes! Sign me up!”
