Days of our Lives” fans who’ve been looking forward to the release of the first-ever movie featuring their favorite Salemites will have to sign up for the premium tier of Peacock in order to watch “Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas,” Soap Opera Network can confirm.

Premiering Thursday, December 16, the Christmas movie will mark the first time that “DAYS”-related content will be streamed exclusively on the premium or higher tier. “Days of our Lives” and its limited series spinoff, “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem,” are available to stream for free with ads after signing up for an account (click here).

The available price options start with the free with limited ads plan which includes access to 40,000+ hours of hit movies, TV shows, and more; plus the ability to enjoy 50+ always-on channels. The Premium tier costs $4.99 a month with limited ads while the Plus tier costs $9.99 a month and is ad-free with the exception of a small amount of programming requiring some advertising in order to absorb the costs of streaming access to the content. This caveat covers select channels, events, certain shows and movies.

Insiders tell Soap Opera Network that while you will have to pay for the streaming service in order to view the Christmas movie for now things can change at any moment down the line.
