Deacon Sharpe is ready to take his rightful place back in his daughter’s life, and with that actor Sean Kanan is heading back to “The Bold and the Beautiful” to reprise his bad boy role.
First announced on Kanan’s Twitter account earlier today, the actor revealed he’ll be back on the CBS soap beginning Thursday, October 7. “I’m baaaaack! Tune in tomorrow to @BandB_CBS and see what daytime’s baddest bad boy has in store for the Foresters,” wrote Kanan.
In a teaser promoting the actor’s return, “B&B” notes fans should “buckle up because daddy’s home!” Deacon is Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) birth father.
Last seen in 2017, Deacon is reportedly set to team up with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) as they work together in trying to take down the Forrester clan.
Speaking with Soap Opera Digest in its upcoming issue, on newsstands Friday, Kanan tells the publication, “Coming through the gate at CBS Television City, I just had the biggest smile on my face. It was like coming home.”
“New and exciting story coming up!!” tweeted Katherine Kelly Lang who plays Brooke Logan, Hope’s mother. She used a smiling face with open mouth emoji to emphasize her excitement. Later, in response to a fan who was excited to hear of Kanan’s return, Lang said, “Its going to be fun!”
