After an initial run-in with the folks at the “CSI: Vegas” crime scene lab, followed by almost running over James Bond (Daniel Craig) with her car in “No Time to Die,” and fighting for survival during a messy “Squid Game,” wherein she was saved by Akbar Gbajabiamila in the end, Natalie Morales finally made her official debut on “The Talk” as the show’s fifth and final permanent co-host. This marks the first time since at least March that the series has formally had five permanent co-hosts on its panel.

“It’s like first day at school,” said Morales to co-host Amanda Kloots who asked about her first day. “I’m the new kid at school, and I’m like, I don’t know who to hang out with. This is amazing. But I’m hanging out with the coolest kids up here. You guys, you have just been amazing from the beginning… from day one what this was announced. And I’ve never done this before a studio audience, this energy is unreal.” With applause, Jerry O’Connell told the audience, “Everyone, let’s welcome you to the cool kids’ table.”

Speaking of her spoof video that included her aforementioned appearances in “CSI: Vegas,” “No Time to Die” and “Squid Game,” Morales says,  “I loved shooting that, and hats off to the whole crew here who shot that with us last week, really unbelievable. They made it so easy for us. And thank goodness Akbar there with the save at the end.”
