After dabbling under the guidance of executive producer and head writer Brad Bell, “The Bold and the Beautiful” star Lawrence Saint-Victor is now officially a writer on the writing staff of the daytime drama series in addition to portraying Carter Walton, one half of the popular #Quarter pairing (Rena Sofer as Quinn being the other half).
“I could never put myself on the same level as the writers we have, but it’s great to learn the show in a totally new way,” Saint-Victor recently told Soap Opera Digest in its newest issue, on newsstands now, who says that he had been speaking with the showrunner about the different storylines and learning more about the writing process for some time. “Years ago, he [Bell] asked me if I wanted to write, and I did a few scripts, but Brad nurtured this. I would have been way too intimidated to ask, but he gave me such great advice. He saw it in me before I saw it in myself.”
In April, Saint-Victor revealed he wrote a full episode of the soap for the first time. “An episode that I had the privilege of writing aired today,” he said on April 15. “It was such a learning experience. Thank you, [headwriter/executive producer] Brad Bell for giving me the opportunity, and to our amazing writers and the entire team for all of your support.”
Most recently, Saint-Victor shared a picture of himself at his laptop writing a script for an upcoming episode. “Writing a script for #boldandbeautiful while in between scenes for #boldandbeautiful HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!!!” he said on Friday, October 8.
In addition to Bell and Saint-Victor, the current “B&B” writing team also includes writers Michael Minnis, Mark V. Pinciotti, Michele Val Jean, Adam Dusevoir, Shannon B. Bradley, Tracey Ann Kelly, and Rex M. Best.
