Marci Miller Back to 'Days of our Lives'

Ever since Chad and Abigail shared an emotional goodbye in May on “Days of our Lives,” Chabby fans have been wondering when they’d finally get to see Abigail’s portrayer Marci Miller back on screen after she had gone on maternity leave following the birth of her daughter, Willett “Willie” James Matteson, born in March, with husband Ryan Matteson. Turns out the wait is almost over!

Soap Opera Network has learned that after Chad (Billy Flynn) recently revealed to his father in law, Jack (Matthew Ashford), that he felt his marriage to Abigail was over, Chad arrives in Boston on Friday, September 10 to talk to Abigail face to face about where things stand between them which marks the return of Miller in the role. Will Chad succeed in getting the love of his life back in his arms, and in Salem? You’ll just have to tune in to find out!

Hint: If we were betting people, we’d say the photo below gives a good clue.

Following the birth of their daughter, both Miller and Matteson shared a batch of photos on Instagram of their bundle of joy. “My heart could not be larger,” Matteson said at the time using the diamond hands emoji to emphasize his statement. “Mom and dad are ecstatic. And tired.”

In June, Miller shared more current photos of Willie. In a caption for a post on Instagram, she said of her husband as he held their daughter, “No doubt about it, he lights her up in a way no one else can. Just a couple of buddies falling further for each other each day. To think all these years I’ve spent admiring him, I was yet to see him at his best. Thanks for being the life of our 24/7 Matteson party of 3, @kalecabdeliversbrah We adore you.”

In August, Miller celebrated her birthday. In honor of the happy day, Matteson shared photos of himself and Miller, captioning the Instagram post, saying, “A very long time ago, I crushed on a girl in a lunch line. I had no idea she was far more wonderful than I ever could have imagined. Each day, I can’t wait for all the beauty I get to witness by your side. Happy Birthday, my love”
