Huge congratulations go out to “Days of our Lives” star Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux) and her husband Ryan Matteson on not just the birth of their first child together, daughter Willett “Willie” James Matteson, but their ability to keep Miller’s pregnancy out of the public space the entire time! That’s not an easy feat in the age of social media.
In a post on Instagram, the first time mother shared several black and white photos of the pair as they enjoyed some peace and quiet with their child, born in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, March 13 weighing in at 6lb 10oz.
“And just like that, we see in colors that we never knew existed,” noted Miller in her post. “Willett (Willie) James Matteson interrupted her parents’ game of blackjack at a mountain casino to be born March 13th in the midst of a blizzard. She has us over the moon.”
On his Instagram, Matteson shared another batch of photos from the days following the birth of their daughter. “My heart could not be larger,” he revealed using the diamond hands emoji to emphasize his statement. “Mom and dad are ecstatic. And tired.”
