She’s back! Eileen Davidson is set to appear in “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem,” the five-part limited series spinoff of “Days of our Lives” launching soon on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming TV service.

According to Deadline, which first reported the news, there is no word yet on who Davidson will be portraying despite originating the iconic role of Kristen DiMera on “DAYS” and winning a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal in 2014.

Word of Davidson’s return was first teased via a post by series star Lisa Rinna (Billie Reed) who shared a video clip of Davidson in the hair/makeup chair at the Burbank Studios in which parent series “Days of our Lives” and “Beyond Salem” are filmed. In the video, Rinna tagged her former co-star on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and captioned it with “Look who I found.” A smiling Davidson appears in the clip wearing a red dress and black shoes that appear to have diamond studs on them.

In “Beyond Salem,” “DAYS” cast members Deidre Hall, Drake Hogestyn, Jackée Harry, Victoria Konefal, Robert Scott Wilson, Billy Flynn, Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers are joined by Rinna as they find their Salem characters spending a long weekend scattered around different parts of the world: John and Marlena (Hall and Hogestyn) travel to Zurich, Ben and Ciara (Wilson and Konefal) have a romantic getaway in New Orleans, Chad (Flynn) visits some old friends in Phoenix, and Abe, Paulina, Lani, and Eli (Reynolds, Harry, Archey and Stowers) vacation in Miami. What they don’t realize is that they are all part of a mystery involving stolen jewels which, in the wrong hands, could cause dire consequences for Salem. Enter ISA agent Reed (Rinna) as she crosses the globe in search of the missing treasure.

Originating the role of Kristen DiMera in 1993, Davidson left the soap in 1998 in order to reprise her role on “The Young and the Restless” as Ashley Abbott. She wouldn’t return to “DAYS” again until 2012. She later won her first Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal in 2014, the same year she opted to once again depart the soap for “Y&R.” The actress again reprised the role of Kristen for a brief period in 2017. The character was recast in 2018 with soap vet Stacy Haiduk.
