Since making his television debut back in 2001 as “Lucas” in the fourth season of MTV’s late night guilty pleasure “Undressed,” soap star Brandon Beemer has been a consistent player in the daytime world with roles on “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Bay.” In primetime, he appeared on both “CSI: Miami” and the original “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” among others, and he’s also starred in multiple Hallmark Channel original movies. But as he celebrates his 20th year as an actor, he could only summarize the ride as being a “crazy” one.

In a recent interview with Digital Journal, Beemer says, “When I first started out, I wasn’t quite sure where I would be in 20 years. I am definitely happy that I have been working consistently for so long.”

Currently playing Shawn Brady on “DAYS,” a role he has played off and on since 2006, Beemer is happy about spending time working in the fictional town of Salem, USA. “I am just grateful to be here and I am thankful that ‘Days of our Lives’ keeps having me back and being with my TV family,” he says.

Sharing that things at the show have been going well, Beemer notes, “We had a few weeks off but everything is moving right along. We are back at it again, and we are shooting some good stories. It keeps me feeling productive.”

Working alongside some of daytime’s most iconic actors, Beemer is also grateful to have portrayed the son of both Peter Reckell (ex-Bo Brady, “DAYS) and Ronn Moss (John Blackwell, “The Bay”; ex-Ridge Forrester, “B&B).

“I have so many good things to say about Peter,” Beemer says of Reckell. “Peter is super nice. When I got to the show, he definitely took me under his wing, he showed me the ropes, and he gave me some good insight and some really good advice.” As for Moss, Beemer says, “He’s a great co-star and it’s great to be able to work with him.” He added, “Ronn goes out of his way to share his experience and the things that he has picked up over the years.” On the digital drama series, Beemer portrays Evan Blackwell and Moss portrays John Blackwell. Beemer and Moss previously worked together on “B&B” when Beemer appeared on the soap as Owen Knight (2008-2012).
