Get ready for another African American family to be heading to Genoa City later this month on “The Young and the Restless” when Leigh-Ann Rose (“Love Thy Neighbor,” “Younger”) and Ptosha Storey (“The Oval,” “Empire”) join the cast of the CBS drama series in recurring roles.

Set to appear starting with the Thursday, December 24 episode of “Y&R,” Rose will be playing the role of Imani Benedict and Storey will play Naya Benedict.

In a post on Instagram, Storey shared, “Great day on the set of my next project! Grateful to be working in spite of this Covid -19 season. Can’t wait to share this one!” It wasn’t clear at the time whether she was referring to “Y&R,” but it looks like it was!
