‘GH’ to Revisit Ava’s Past Misdeeds With Flashback Episode

"General Hospital" goes back in time to January 2018 when Ava Jerome (Maura West) is haunted by her past misdeeds.

In keeping with its “Flashback Friday” theme, on Friday, April 17, ABC’s “General Hospital” will re-air the January 17, 2018 episode (#13973) featuring Ava Jerome (Maura West) as she is haunted by the people she’s hurt during a special stand-alone episode of the daytime drama series.

In the episode, Julian (William deVry) offers his support while Sonny (Maurice Benard) receives a mysterious text message, and Franco (Roger Howarth) looks to repay a favor. Also, look for Kiki (Hayley Erin) to be a bundle of nerves and Griffin (Matt Cohen) offering words of encouragement.

The episode also includes the brief return of Bryan Craig as Morgan Corinthos, one of Ava’s former flames who had died one year earlier in a bomb meant for Julian. “Secret’s out. I’ll be on tomorrow,” wrote Craig on Twitter of the episode when it originally aired. “Hope you all enjoy.”

The network has slotted encore airings of the series to air on Fridays through at least May 22. Whether the network will air additional reruns or other programming options thereafter during “GH’s” time slot has not yet been announced.
