THE NUMBERS

CBS Daytime has cause for celebration: the full lineup consisting of soaps “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” game shows “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right,” and “The Talk” are all up from their recent performances, hitting some of their best numbers during the all important May Sweeps ratings period.

For the week of May 14-18, 2018, “The Young and the Restless” attracted 4.17 million viewers, a 1.2 rating in Women 25-54 and a 0.7 rating in Women 18-49, both of which were the soap’s best performance in those demos since the week of April 23-27, 2018.

The Bold and the Beautiful” attracted 3.4 million viewers, a 1.0 rating in Women 25-54 and a 0.6 rating in Women 18-49. The soap brought in its highest numbers in those measures since the week of April 16-20, 2018.

Outside of soaps, “The Price is Right” part 1 attracted its largest audience since the week ending April 27 with 4.29 million viewers. “Price” part 2, the higher rated of the two half hours, hit its biggest numbers since the week ending April 20, with 4.84 million viewers tuning in each day. “The Price is Right” part 2 remained the most-watched daily broadcast series for the week.

Delivering 2.36 million viewers for the week, “The Talk” hit its best mark in Women 25-54 with a 0.7 rating since the week ending April 20.

“Let’s Make a Deal” part 1 brought in 2.81 million daily viewers – the show’s largest audience since the week of April 30-May 4, 2018. “Let’s Make a Deal” part 2, the higher rated of the two half hours, was watched by 3.22 million viewers. This was the game show’s best number since the week ending April 27. The show hit its best Women 18-49 rating since the week of April 2-6, 2018 with a 0.6 rating.
