The hour glass will continue dropping sand for “Days of our Lives” star Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez). The actress has renewed her contract with the soap and will remain for at least another year.
“Guess what? I’m staying!!!” wrote Banus in an Instagram post on Friday. “You will for sure have more Gabiness for another year!!!”
In her post, Banus thanked the producers and the network for giving her the opportunity of playing such an intrinsic character.
“Thanks to everyone that follows my storyline and the show in general! We have a thriving medium with many many viewers and I am so lucky to be a part of that!! Thanks @nbc for letting us be part of this amazing family !! Thanks @nbcdays for the chance of being Gabi once again!”
Banus originally joined the cast of “DAYS” in October 2010. She left in June 2014, only to make brief appearances months later. She returned full-time in September 2015.
