It’s been more than six years since Vivian Alamain last stepped foot in Salem, but that’s about to change.
NBC’s “Days of our Lives” is confirming via Soap Opera Digest that Louise Sorel has reprised the role following an accidental leak earlier today by actress Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian Lord, “One Life to Live”), and a photo leak of the actress in the “DAYS” dressing room alongside Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux), Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera), and who appears to be “General Hospital” alum Tyler Christopher (ex-Nikolas Cassadine).

“Louise Sorel just called: “So it’s Bell Canyon… what is this? Your 432nd home?’ Oh, Lulu we’ve got history. LOL. Can’t wait to have her visit me,” wrote Strasser, while adding, “Louise Sorel as if you didn’t know is reprising her iconic role on ‘Days of our Lives.’ [Executive producer Ken] Corday knows what makes our day(s), doesn’t he?”
Realizing her mistake in revealing the news, which in fact had not been known at the time, Strasser said, “Uh, oh is it supposed to be a secret Vivian will show [on] ‘DAYS’?” She also says, “I didn’t know…oh, crap. Shout it. La Great One returns. Best news ever!”
In a tweet, published a short time ago, Strasser wanted something clarified: “Just saying. If it’s a secret, better make sure to tell me it is, otherwise I’m like the tomb Blair and Dorian raided. #BahdraDiamond-Locked.”
An airdate for Sorel’s return to Salem has not been announced.
