Alla Korot Lands at ‘General Hospital’

A veteran of daytime soaps, actress (ex-Allie Doyle, “All My Children”; ex-Jenna Norris, ” Another World”) is heading to “,” confirms an ABC representative. Character details and when she’ll first air were not made available, however.

Korot’s joining “GH” marks a return for the actress to the Prospect Studios based set of the daytime drama series. She previously portrayed an HIV-positive patient at the hospital during the first season of “,” the soap’s primetime spinoff that aired on SOAPnet a decade ago.

Last seen in daytime in 2016 as Janet Bernard on “,” Korot has appeared in episodes of several primetime shows including a recent stint in the final season of NBC’s “” as Dasha Karpushin and a short arc on “.” Korot also appeared in “,” “” and “,” among many others.

Soap Opera Digest first reported Korot’s joining “GH.”
