Veteran daytime director and producer Shelley Curtis has joined the directing team of CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Soap Opera Network has learned exclusively.
Curtis, who has directed episodes of “All My Children,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “Port Charles,” among others, has won several Daytime Emmy Awards for her work as a producer and director while at “GH.” She also received nominations for directing at “DAYS.”
At “B&B,” Curtis joins the directing team that currently consists of Michael Stich, Cynthia J. Popp, Deveney Kelly, Jennifer Howard, David Shaughnessy, and “B&B” actress Heather Tom (Katie Logan), who began directing at the soap late last year.
“I’m excited to be coming back to daytime and elated to join ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ team!” Curtis tells Soap Opera Network.
The first episode directed by Curtis is scheduled to air Wednesday, April 13.
Outside of daytime, Curtis was the executive producer of the short-lived Lifetime telenovela, “Monarch Cove,” which featured former “GH” and “Guiding Light” star Stephen Martines (aka: Coltin Scott).
