Melanie Jonas may have left Salem earlier this year just as Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was coming to terms with dealing with his situation with Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley), but she’s back beginning next month when actress Molly Burnett reprises her role on “Days of our Lives.”
According to the Jason47.com Facebook page, which first reported her return, Melanie’s length of stay is not yet known but it’s possible it’ll coincide with wrapping up the Daniel (Shawn Christian) storyline.
It’s been reported that Daniel will exit in a way in which Salem comes together to mourn their loved one, which explains why Nadia Bjorlin‘s Chloe Lane is returning around the same time before she returns again full-time in late Spring.

“Days of our Lives” does not comment on actor contracts or rumors.
