‘GH’s’ Jason Thompson and ‘AMC’ Alum Mark Consuelos To Appear on ‘The Chew’

On the Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24 episodes of ABC’s “The Chew,” the cooking show will feature a soap star in the kitchen as “General Hospital’s” Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake) and “All My Children” alum Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo Santos) are set to join celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon, and Carla Hall, entertaining expert Clinton Kelly and health and wellness enthusiast Daphne Oz for some fine dining.

The October 23 episode, entitled “Thrifty Thursday,” has Thompson joining the hosts as they serve up part four of their “Your Freaky Front Door” segment (which begins with part one on Monday, October 20) that will provide tips on easy to make pumpkin, cat and bat lanterns just in time for Halloween. Meanwhile, on the October 24 episode, entitled “Kicked Up Casseroles,” Consuelos is on hand to help promote the second season of the Amazon series “Alpha House,” where he portrays Senator Andy Guzman, which premieres that same day on Amazon.com. “Your Freaky Front Door” concludes with part five – alien ghosts.
