Earlier this week it was announced that “’s” (Franco) had signed on for a recurring role on The CW’s “,” where he’ll portray Mason Bridge, an award-winning reporter from the Central City Picture News. With fans wondering if Howarth’s joining the series, based on the DC comic of the same name, would in any way affect his role on the daytime drama series “GH” executive producer responded to inquiries by clearing things up for any worrisome viewers during a recent visit to New York City.

“We are thrilled for Roger and this opportunity. Fans can rest assure he is not off the show, as the timing for this role worked out so that he can shoot during our current ‘GH’ hiatus,” stated Valentini, who is currently in the Big Apple alongside several of “GH’s” biggest stars – Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos), Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe), Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake), Ryan Paevey (Nathan West), Vinessa Antoine (Jordan Ashford) and William deVry (Julian Jerome) – for an ABC press junket, which included the annual ABC Casino Night.
