I am, thank you! I’m just elated, surprised. I wasn’t expecting it, whatsoever. I refused to write a speech because I just thought there was no point in spending time writing a speech; I wasn’t going to win. I was so shocked.
Is there anyone you forgot to thank during your speech?
“Y&R’s” publicist/associate producer, Jimmy Freeman! I love Jimmy. He’s such an amazing support system over at “Y&R.” I can count on him through thick and thin. He’s helped with everything. He helped my pick out my Emmy reel. He’s amazing. I love him, so thank you to him.
Do you have any idea where you plan on putting your Emmy?
I don’t know! I have no idea, but maybe I’ll just put her in a really unexpected place. Maybe my mantel, but I just feel that’s so cliché.
Just put her in your bed.
Yes! She could sleep with me every night. Or she can be one of those fancy pillows at the end. [Laughs]
Perfect! And how do you plan on celebrating tonight?
I’m so hungry! I just really want In-N-Out animal style fries.
