The list of talented stars and entertaining programming to receive Primetime Emmy nods this year is a long one, but don’t fret: Soap Opera Network has scanned the complete list and broken down the show with multiple nominations into an easy-to-see numbers list for those of you who don’t need too many details — except to see who’s in the lead!
Warner Bros. next animated movie will be “Justice League: War,” and former “The Young and the Restless” star Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm Winters) is going to be in it!
“Devious Maids” star Paula Garces (Lea Marquez, “All My Children”) won’t have any trouble finding a fellow playdate mommy once her bundle of joy arrives this fall: Her “Maids” co-star Dania Ramirez is also expecting — twins!

They say fast-paced soap operas are good training grounds for primetime gigs, and that must be the case, considering several former soap stars have garnered Primetime Emmy nods this year! In light of the official announcement of the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Award nominees, Soap Opera Network brings you the who, what and where of stars who’ve given sudsers a go.
According to Nielsen Media Research data released today, CBS’ “The Talk” has delivered its second-biggest weekly audience in the show’s history. “Talk,” hosted by Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and Sheryl Underwood, averaged 2.54 million viewers* for the week ending July 12. The show averaged a 1.1/6 in Women 25-54 rating and a 0.7/4 in Women 18-49 rating.
HBO leads the Prime Emmy pack with 108 nominations, the most of any network this year. “Game of Thrones,” which completed its third season earlier this year with record ratings, powers the network with 16 nominations. “Behind The Candelabra” received 15 nominations, “Phil Spector” received 11 nominations and “Boardwalk Empire” received 10 Nominations.
USA Network miniseries “Political Animals,” which sadly did not move on to become a regularly scheduled primetime series as hoped, has instead become a cult classic and is now a multi-Primetime Emmy award nominee!
The anticipation leading up to the announcement of the 65th Primetime Emmy awards has been building for weeks, and “Breaking Bad’s” Aaron Paul and “How I Met Your Mother’s” Neil Patrick Harris finally made the official list public this morning.
