Thaao Penghlis (ex-Tony DiMera, “Days of our Lives”) is set to reprise his role as Victor Cassadine on ABC’s “General Hospital” in the new year, confirms a show representative to Soap Opera Network. The actor last played the role more than 30 years ago, when the character met his supposed death, but with the actor returning does that mean that the brother of Anthony and Mikkos Cassadine is in fact alive? Soap Opera Digest, which first reported the news, states that Penghlis is tentatively scheduled to first air on Thursday, January 30, 2014 – the first day of February sweeps.
