“I went to a memorial for one of my old professors [at UCLA], and I saw friends of mine from 30 years ago. We all went to school together, and it just sort of brought up how thankful I am to have gone into a life of theater and acting and stage and Broadway and musicals. There’s a camaraderie, a sense of family that’s created. ‘Days of our Lives’ is a family, and we’re a family in all of the plays I did in school and all I’ve done ever since. And it brings me back to my own family and I’m thankful for them. They keep my grounded. I’m not on stage all of the time, so I need to have a real life! And I thank them for that and for all of the blessings I have that didn’t come out of struggle. So that’s what I’m thankful for.”
