According to published reports, Thom Racina and Susan Bedsow Horgan have been named Co-Head Writers of Prospect Park’s re-boot of “One Life to Live,” which is slated to hit the company’s The Online Network (TOLN) later this year. While Racina appears to be a newbie when it comes to the town of Llanview and its citizens, Bedsow Horgan is more familiar as she served as an Associate Head Writer and later Executive Producer of the series in the 1990’s.

In response to news of her joining, Bedsow Horgan said on Twitter, “Happy to have this golden opportunity. Stay tuned.”

During his long daytime career, Racina was head writer or co-head writer at such shows as “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital,” “Generations,” and “Santa Barbara.” He most recently served as a script writer at “The Young and the Restless.” He served in that same capacity first at “Search for Tomorrow” and again at “Another World” in the 1980’s. When learning of his hiring, “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Michele Val Jean said on Twitter, “Love Thom Racina. Worked w/him on Generations & Santa Barbara. Fabulous writer and a really nice guy. Couldn’t be happier for him & OLTL.”

In addition to her time at “OLTL,” Bedsow Horgan worked at “Guiding Light” and “As The World Turns.”
