IT HAPPENED TODAY…
At Brooke's request, Taylor stopped by her home. Taylor wasn't sure it was a good idea. Brooke told her to stay for at least ten minutes because she had something for her. Brooke assured Taylor that she had no hidden agenda when Taylor expressed her suspicions. Taylor balked that whatever she had to say wouldn't change her opinion on her. Brooke told Taylor that Ridge is safer with her and that she can make him happy. "You're the only other woman who loves him as much as I do," she said. Taylor was shocked when Brooke handed her her wedding ring. "I made a mockery out of this–something that was so sacred. And giving it to you makes me feel like I can take a step forward, like I can fix things," Brooke told her. She said the ring will remind Taylor to keep Ridge happy. Taylor thanked Brooke. Brooke told her to set an example to Hope for what a good marriage should be. Taylor said she would treasure the ring. The two then hugged.
Amber told Carl that she has to know who the father of this baby is before she delivers it. Carl told her that the results were delayed because of a mishap in the lab. "We are running out of time Carl. If this baby comes out and it's the wrong dad, we are in so much trouble!" Carl bolted out of the room after Amber told him to hurry up. Later, Tawny visited Amber and started to annoy her about baby names.
Bill, Katie, and Justin discussed business in Bill's office. Liam called Bill and told him that Amber was in labor. Bill hung up and told Katie and Justin that he's about to become a Grandfather. Later, they all arrived at the hospital and Liam greeted them. Liam told Bill that Amber went into labor right as he and Hope were about to set off for Mexico. Amber's doctor asked Liam to come with her to check on Amber. Bill came along with him but immediately left when Amber's labor screams started to get to him. He went back out into the hospital corridor with Katie and Justin. Justin laughed and gave Bill a cigar. Back in Amber's room, Amber was almost fully dilated (and ready to push) when Carl sended her a text saying the results were almost ready.
Oliver and Hope got comfortable in the Big Bear cabin. Hope couldn't help but think about Liam and talked about how everythings's going to be different now. She layed in Oliver's lap. She noted how unfair it was to Liam how his life changed all in one night. Oliver told her she was right but you can't wish away a baby. "Liam's future is tied to her, yours doesn't have to be," he told Hope. He told her that he loved her and that she could have better. "There's no heartache with me," he said. Just then, Hope's phone rang. It was Liam. Hope took the call outside, where a storm was brewing. Hope could hear Amber's screams through the phone. She told Liam that she was really happy for him. Liam told Hope that he loved her. After the conversation ended, Hope started crying and looked up at the sky. She went back into the cabin with Oliver and thanked him for bringing her there. Oliver said he'd take care of her forever if she'd let him. He told Hope he couldn't wait any longer and got down on one knee and proposed to her.
Amber screamed in pain as she began to push. Bill scowled about it outside in the corridor. Katie laughed at how uncomfortable he was and encouraged him to go inside. Bill mustered up the courage and finally went inside. Carl came into the room and asked for some time alone with Amber. The doctor told him there was no way that could happen with Amber about to give birth. The baby's head becomes visible and everyone looks on as Amber brings a baby into the world!
