(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Cast members from the long-running ABC soap record a new Valentine’s Day album for iTunes.

While details on the new album are scarce, David A. Gregory (Ford) announced on January 18 on his Facebook page that he had “recorded a song for ‘OLTL’s’ Valentine’s Day Album with Ms. Underwood (soon to be on iTunes!) Good times. Its not a musical but the album is called ‘The Sound of a Kiss’ released next month…”

Gregory’s recently fired co-star Brittany Underwood (Langston) confirmed the news only days before her ouster from the show on her Twitter page, stating that “yes me and David recorded a duet for ‘OLTL’s’ Valentine’s Day album it is such a beautiful original song, gonna be avail on iTunes!”

It is not known how many other members of the “One Life to Live” cast will be taking part in the project, however, it is not the first time that the folks from Llanview have lent their voices to an album. In 2006, “One Life” cast mates put together a CD entitled “One Life, Many Voices” to raise money for Hurricane Katrina clean-up efforts. Later that same year, the cast joined with their “All My Children” and “General Hospital” co-stars on the Christmas album “ABC Daytime Presents A Holiday Affair.” And in 2007, the soundtrack to the “OLTL’s” infamous “Prom Night: The Musical” three-episode special event was released, followed by the sequel “Starr X’d Lovers: The Musical” in 2010.

“One Life to Live” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Anytime on ABC.com and SOAPnet.com. Check local listings.
