Browsing: Tom Cruise

It’s officially upfront week where the networks announce their new season lineups filled with an abundance of new programming consisting of scripted comedies and dramas, unscripted fare, sporting events and specials. Today, FOX announced its fall lineup with the addition of Ryan Murphy‘s “Scream Queens,” which brings together such stars as horror queen Jamie Lee Curtis and “Glee” alum Lea Michele, Rob Lowe comedy “The Grinder,” John Stamos and Ben Savage vehicle “Grandfathered,” the television version of the hit 2002 Tom Cruise film, “Minority Report” starring Stark Sands (“Inside Llewyn Davis”) as a man haunted by the future and Meagan Good (“Think Like A Man” franchise, “Californication”) as a cop haunted by her past. Also joining the network next season is “Rosewood,” which will lead into an 18-episode repeat free season of “Empire” on Wednesdays.

“The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” have had their fair share of daddy-centric storylines, and now two of CBS Daytime’s other shows are trying to catch up! Just in time for Father’s Day, both “The Talk” and “The Price is Right” will be featuring special “dad” episodes, and the latter will also be airing a special “high school graduates” episode.

“Days of our Lives’” Arianne Zucker may have received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in this year’s Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards race, but she’s not taking all of the credit. “I’m so proud of all of us,” she says of her nomination as well as the show’s 17 other Emmy nods. “We’re an ensemble cast and crew. There’s no “I” in this team. I had Shawn Christian [Daniel Jonas] and Missy [Reeves, Jennifer Horton], almost everybody in my scenes, so I didn’t do it alone. So that’s what’s pretty cool. Everybody helped lift me up.”
