Chandler Massey Headed Back to ‘Days of our Lives’?

Despite claims by "Days of our Lives" executive producer Ken Corday that any character killed after September 2015 would remain dead, rumors are running rampant that the soap has secretly been in negotiations with three-time Daytime Emmy Award Winner Chandler Massey to reprise his role as Will Horton, who was murdered in October by the necktie killer (Ben Weston, played by Robert Scott Wilson) during Guy Wilson's turn in the popular role. Adding fuel to the fire are recent comments by Massey's former publicist, Jeffrey Ballard.
As previously reported, NBC has officially renewed "Days of our Lives" for next season, the show's 51st.In announcing the pickup, Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment, said, "NBC is incredibly proud of the legacy of 'Days of our Lives' and we couldn’t be more excited to brings its fans new stories for the 51st season.

The story of Billy Hayes and his daring escape from a Turkish prison and eventual return to a country that had blocked him from re-entry for more than 30 years is the center of "Midnight Return: The Story of Billy Hayes and Turkey" the feature-length documentary directed by veteran daytime writer Sally Sussman Morina ("The Young and the Restless," "Another World," "Days of our Lives," "Generations"). The documentary will make its U.S. debut during "The 31st Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival" next week.

The former soap star, who made a big impression on daytime fans as Brandon Kingsley on "All My Children" and as Dr. Royal Dunning on "Another World," passed away on Thursday, January 28. He was 75 years old.
