As previously reported, former “All My Children” star Robert Scott Wilson (ex-Pete Cortlandt) is joining the cast of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” as a recast Ben Rogers. The actor replaces Justin Gaston, who in real-life is married to “The Young and the Restless’” Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman). Gaston was let go after his 13-week contract cycle was not picked up.
Sources tell Soap Opera Network that the now former “Price is Right” male model began filming at the Burbank Studios based soap in early January and will first air on Thursday, May 22, in scenes with Kristian Alfonso‘s Hope Brady and Kate Mansi‘s Abigail Deveraux.
A last airdate for Gaston is not known at this time.
