Will take them another two years to achieve it once more? There is no need to point out GH obvious faults.

Nice rebound for DOOL this week.

  • Bexxx The Clown

I remember someone on here saying GH would falter but there numbers continue to rise despite the typical hater comments that a particular person who posts here cannot let go of. With the way the show was last week when the ratings come out this week it will show another big rise yet this same person will come here and spew their hatred again

Well, it’s starting, the decline in ratings chipping away at YR…my question is why? JFP and her goons which think the vision of good soap opera killing children which isn’t to the viewers! We are probably going to go through at least year as MAB with declining ratings and will it be too late for YR to once again recover? YR deserves this blow as Sony, CBS especially AMcD for not realizing the viewers anger and supporting JFP and her friends. This isn’t good soap to watch, only thing good is the actors making sugar out crapping writing & direction. I feel sorry for the actors. I feel JFP has her eyes set on another tragedy of a main vet to rid them for more of her cronies to come aboard.

I want YR fixed not later but done immediately so the damage is minimal and could have a chance at recovery. It’s simple Kay Alden, Jack Smith, Ed Scott, or David Shaughnessy to return and clean up and repair the damage…

Um no the ratings decline did not start yet this is typical for Y&R for the ratings to go up and down depending on the week.

Love it. GH is right now the best its been in decades. Loving the Scorpio story and all the players involved. They bring the ratings every time.

Not a good week for the CBS shows. YR is now back to where it was when MAB left. This is actually the last rating period before JG’s stuff started airing a year ago. So we’ll see if Phelps can best her own ratings, which looks like is going to be hard with this Delia mess.
And it’s been a while since I’ve seen BB at a 2.3. I think the newest “trio” is kind of boring. They also have storylines involving the youngest characters right now, so that proves that the younger characters don’t pull the best demos, which BB is currently last in both.
I hope to see a turnaround.

Now THIS is what I was looking for. People can spew their GH hatred all they wish, but their hatred doesn’t match up with facts. BTW, isn’t this about the same time a year ago when Steve Burton made his last GH appearance? And just where are the ratings now? Just asking…

There’s one thing that people have to finally understand: If General Hospital or any other soap gets such a boost in ratings like we’ve seen over the last weeks and the last year in general, it’s actually a good thing for ALL the soaps and their fans. Because it proves the network execs and gurus wrong that in 2009/10 thought killing soaps would be the way to go. Now, ABC (and CBS) would certainly love to have some more shows with GH’s ratings, wouldn’t they?! At least, sooner or later, they’re going to grow into seeing the reality and correct their historic mistake of killing decade-long cash-cows and household marks!!
