With “The Gates” in “accelerated development” at CBS, many are wondering what that means for “The Talk,” the talk show that replaced “As The World Turns.”
“We’re so focused on getting it right,” says George Cheeks, President and CEO of CBS, on “The Gates,” the network’s new daytime soap currently in development.
CBS has renewed comedy “Ghosts” and drama “Fire Country” for the 2024-2025 broadcast season. “Ghosts” will enter season 4 and “Fire Country” will see season 3.

Austin Stowell will play a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs in “NCIS: Origins,” a prequel series taking place years before “NCIS” and featuring Mark Harmon as narrator.
Airing just four episodes, including the series premiere after the Super Bowl, CBS has ordered a second season of “Tracker” starring Justin Hartley.
