After famously denying any marriage following word of her legally changing her name from Vanessa Marcil to Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo, just before officially returning to ABC’s “General Hospital” back in 2010, Marcil (ex-Brenda Barrett) is now divorcing her husband Carmine Giovinazzo (“CSI: NY”), according to a report by TMZ.

According to TMZ, comedian Phyllis Diller, who appeared frequently on CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful,” has passed.

Ron Palillo, best known for his star turning role as Arnold Horshack on “Welcome Back, Kotter​,” has died, reports TMZ. The actor appeared as Gary Warren in episodes of “One Life to Live” in 1994. He died this morning of an apparent heart attack.

People Magazine is reporting that Kristin Chenoweth, who was scheduled to appear in a recurring role on the new season of CBS’ “The Good Wife” as a political reporter, will not be returning to the series.

Representing the estate of their late parents, the daughters of “General Hospital” creators Frank and Doris Hursley are suing ABC for “breach of contract.”
