The Bold and the Beautiful, B&B, #BoldandBeautiful

“The Bold and the Beautiful” premiered March 23, 1987 on CBS. The series airs weekdays on CBS. Anytime on Paramount+.

Hot on the heels of the news that Hallmark’s “Signed, Sealed and Delivered” will be moving to the network’s Movies and Mysteries channel comes word that former “The Bold and the Beautiful” actor Brandon Beemer (ex-Owen Knight; ex-Shawn Brady, “Days of our Lives”) will be appearing in a Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film!

As Soap Opera Network gets ready to celebrate its 13th anniversary on Wednesday, October 8, we are proud to announce that we will begin providing our readers with weekly ratings reports for not just the daytime soaps, but also talk shows “The Chew,” “The Talk,” “The View,” “The Today Show 2” and “The Today Show 3,” as well as game shows “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right,” along with the previously reported ratings for “The Young and the Restless,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.” The charts, which will vary week to week, does not take away from the weekly daytime drama rankings we will continue posting each week, but instead represents what daytime programming as a whole looks like when compared with one another and not based solely on genre.

With game shows “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right,” “The Talk” and daytime drama “The Bold and the Beautiful,” CBS Daytime continues to grow its audience year-over-year after just one week into the new television season (week of September 22-26) based on Nielsen Media Research live plus same day ratings data.

As previously reported, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” is currently on location filming scenes in Amsterdam for upcoming episodes of the daytime drama series. In a soap opera twist, cast members from the soap met up with the stars of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” which reportedly now includes former “B&B” actress Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott, “The Young and the Restless”; Kristen DiMera, “Days of our Lives”) and Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie Reed). Incidentally, because Bravo has yet to confirm either actresses participation in the series, it looks like the meeting of the former soapers (along with “Housewife” Lisa Vanderpump) and the cast of “B&B” has resulted in the “secret” being revealed!

While Halloween season itself isn’t necessarily in style just yet for much of the land, the Halloween themed episodes of CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” has already been planned and will include several “Big Brother” contestants new and old, reports TV Guide‘s Michael Logan. Per the publication, “Big Brother” contestant Donny Thompson will be joined by fellow season 16 houseguests Amber Borzotra, Cody Calafiore, Zach Rance, Hayden Voss, Nicole Franzel, Caleb Reynolds and Devin Shephard, Season 11 & 13’s Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, Season 12 & 13’s Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas, and Season 15’s Elissa Slater as they all appear in the Halloween themed episodes of the soap, airing Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31, that promises to be boatloads of fun!

The final week of the 2013-2014 television season came to a close last week (week of September 15-19, 2014) and CBS Daytime ended the year on top for the 28th consecutive year! “The Bold and the Beautiful” attracted its largest audience since the 2006-07 television season, while “The Young and the Restless” scored its most watched season in viewers since the 2009-10 television season. Meanwhile, “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Talk” hit their best numbers ever in viewers as “The Price is Right 1” delivered its largest audience since the 2004-05 season and “The Price is Right 2” brought in its biggest audience since the 2006-07 season.

All we can say about the season three finale of TNT’s primetime soap, “Dallas,” is holy sheep sh*%#t! A promo for the popular series teased that an Ewing was going to die in last night’s September 22 episode, and by golly, the show followed through: Christopher Ewing (played by former “Passions” star Jesse Metcalf) died in a fiery car explosion, much to the horror of audiences everywhere!

Famous funnyman Fred Willard is set to make his “The Bold and the Beautiful” debut as Eric’s (John McCook) brother, John Forrester, next week! To celebrate his arrival, Soap Opera Network took part in a special press event where the celebrated comedian shared all the deets about his daytime gig, including working with the sudser’s cast, staying PG for family audiences and what viewers can really expect from the zany character once he crashes Forrester Creations. Read on for the scoop!

Antonio Sabato Jr. (ex-Dante Damiano, “The Bold and the Beautiful;” ex-Jagger Cates, “General Hospital”) has just recently been announced as a contestant on the 19th season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” but that’s not all that’s been keeping the former “Melrose Place” actor busy: He also has a brand new syndicated home improvement show debuting next week!

With the final days of summer upon us, many across the nation are gearing up to head to the beach or have one last BBQ before returning to the office or school to tackle responsibilities of the mind next week, with Labor Day being the official holiday of rest for the working class in America. Unfortunately, for those staying home on Monday, September 1, in order to catch up on their favorite soaps, you’ll either be seeing a repeat of “General Hospital” on ABC or no soaps at all on CBS and NBC.
